Women’s right in Iraq

Women’s right in Iraq Due to the situation of Iraq and conflicts after the wars and political issues that have led to worsening in the lives of women in Iraq, Iraqi women today suffer from a lack of educational opportunity, health care, and job opportunity because of the obstacles of the society, families, and male-dominated society. As well as a high level of violence and injustice Made women are unable to contribute economically, socially, and politically. And there are many basic rights that the women in Iraq are disadvantaged from them. And the most important right is literacy and education, the discrimination between genders caused an outcome of poverty, immorality and breaking down the personality of women in Iraq, it’s due to the traditional cultural and social factors that remain as an obstacle of educating girls and the main factor of failing women to complete their education are their family and early marriage. And also above all of the duties and responsibilities that women hold in taking care of children and doing chores but the society sees them worthless and sees the men as a center of living the family, and lessen women’s role in the family. By always saying you’re doing nothing, you’re worthless and hurting women emotionally. women’s and girls are a victim of violence and honor killing and most of the violence against women occurring at home. And the most dangerous thing in doing violence against women is that the women believe that husbands or male genders in a family have the right to hit or beat the female genders in some circumstances. So that we can say the level of education of the Iraqi society made the violence against women legal and the women should accept that because they depend on the male genders of their family so that they should accept everything the male decides on them.
